PreSonus FP10 - An excellent compromise!

installed on a PC in a home studio. I used to record instruments and voices. properly patched on a small analog console, I had to add a mic preamp voice a little warmer, and some compressor and equalizer .. configuration Low cost but very interesting as long as you install some VST effects in the PC. I have a pc not very powerful (dual-core 2ghz, Hard Drives: 160GB + 500GB dedicated to software for storage, 2GB DDRAM, win xp home) and the only problems I encountered latency problems are, due to my PC and an inability to read more than 15 channels at once without lag (also in my pc) only drawback: to my knowledge there is no driver for Linux workstation ... (I read that a driver had been designated to support this type of sound cards, but I have not managed to get my presonus ...)
